Prologue
Jack awoke with a fright. He keeps having the same dream every night. He says to himself Its not possible its just not, but it is, his family is gone. He remembers that day like it was yesterday. The day they were going to California to spend the summer there. He knows he should have gone with them, but he didnt want to. Something didnt feel right to him, like he knew he made the right choice. That feeling came to life after he heard that his family was killed in a plane crash while in midflight.
He will never forgive himself for that. He knows he should have stopped them from getting on the plane, but he didnt. He didnt know that the feeling was real. He thought it was all in his head. So now alone no family we find him in the forests of Colorado. He is just wandering through. Until he stumbles upon what seems to be a stream out of place, like it doesnt belong. He walks over to it and sees that it has crystal clear water. He says to himself, Well it seems fine, so he takes a drink. Amazing feeling came over him. He felt like a new man (even though hes a teen) it was a wonderful feeling.
Then he notices a pack of wolves running toward him. He thinks they are just on a hunt. Then they stop in front of him. He starts to become afraid. They start attacking him. Then he gets knocked out. When he awakes he finds himself all cut up and still outside. He cant figure out why they did that. He thinks he should be dead. Why is he still alive? Then he realizes The water he says to himself. Can it be? He doesnt feel any pain. So he just lets it go.
